Evan was born in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) and grew up at the local ballet studio and community theatre. After falling in love with the backstage process and cosplay He decided to move to Pōneke (Wellington) to pursue study at Toi Whakaari, where he graduated in 2023. 

Since moving he has worked in many different spaces including the Millinery work room at the RNZB, wardrobe and backstage for G&T productions, the Wellington opera and more.  

Evan is a fast learner that loves the challenge of figuring out how to bring a costume to life, and supporting the actors that wear them. He is currently working as an independent contractor based in Wellington and is eager to hear about any production he could contribute to.
